A correctly selected and installed split system can provide efficient heating and cooling while keeping your home or workplace comfortable throughout Melbourne's changing seasons.
Aime Air & Plumbing Solutions can help you choose a system suited to the size and requirements of the space before completing the installation, testing and commissioning.
Our Split System Installation Service Can Include:
✓ Assessment of the room and installation location
✓ Advice on suitable system size and capacity
✓ Supply and installation of split system air conditioners
✓ Indoor and outdoor unit installation
✓ Refrigerant pipework and connections
✓ Condensate drainage
✓ Electrical coordination where required
✓ Installation of mounting brackets or suitable supports
✓ Testing and commissioning
✓ Removal of installation waste from site
✓ Demonstration of basic system operation
Reverse Cycle Split System Air Conditioning
Reverse cycle split systems provide both heating and cooling from a single system, making them a popular option for Melbourne homes.
They can be used to condition individual bedrooms, living areas, home offices and other spaces without needing to heat or cool the entire property.
We'll help determine the appropriate system capacity and installation location for the area you want to condition.
Choosing the Right Split System Size
Correct sizing is an important part of split system installation.
A system that's too small may struggle to maintain the desired temperature, while simply choosing the largest system available isn't necessarily the right solution either.
We consider factors such as the room size, layout, windows, insulation, orientation and intended use of the space when recommending an appropriate split system.
Split System Installation for Bedrooms & Living Areas
Split systems are a flexible option when you want independent heating and cooling in particular areas of your home.
They can be installed in:
✓ Bedrooms
✓ Living rooms
✓ Open-plan living areas
✓ Home offices
✓ Apartments and units
✓ Renovations and extensions
✓ Selected commercial spaces
For properties requiring several indoor units, our Multi-Split Systems service may provide another option depending on the property and installation requirements.
Replacing an Existing Split System
If you already have an older split system that's no longer performing reliably, we can assess the existing installation and discuss suitable replacement options.
Depending on the new system and condition of the existing installation, alterations to pipework, drainage, electrical supply or mounting may be required.
You can also view our dedicated Split System Replacement service for more information.
Split System Installation for New Builds & Renovations
Planning air conditioning during a renovation or new build can make it easier to determine suitable locations for the indoor and outdoor units, pipework, drainage and other services before construction is completed.
Aime Air can work with homeowners, builders and other trades to coordinate split system installations as part of renovation and construction projects.
